iPhone 4, bad cell providers, rainy days...

Greetings, long time no see. Yes, it has been awhile since my last blog, but here it is. Been keeping a close eye on Apple since the announcement of the new iPhone 4 to be released June 24 in the US. and July 1 for Canada. Awhile back I posted about the new phone of my dreams, and since then this new Apple device has taken its place. Like honestly who wouldn't want one. I mean, everybody and their pet have a Blackberry, and new Blackberrys are apparently out there, but not yet available. And of course here in Saskatchewan, waiting on the 3G network to be implemented, one can only wait to hold one of these beauties.
With 600,000 iPhone pre-orders in one day I wish I could add to that number, but it probably won't happen for a while. But the moment it does, perhaps I'll ditch this old Blackberry that Telus Mobility has me stuck with. There is no signs of new Blackberrys coming out from Telus anytime soon. Until then, I'll just hold my breath and keep my ear to the ground.
That brings me onto my next topic, a story I read a few days back on CBC.ca, about the cellphone firms of Canada. It was an interesting read, you can read about it here. I've had my problems with my cell service provider in the past, as I'm sure we've all have. Thanks to the Better Business Bureau for handing out report cards to all the little boys and girls. Out of 751 complaints against Telus Mobility, I've had my gripes and probably count for 3 or 4 of those complaints. I'm content and somewhat pleased with my provider, it could be worse, I could be on Rogers. (Insert flame war here :)
So with that, and the sun shining, oops, did I say SUN SHINING? I'll leave you wishing for an iPhone, disliking your cell service provider, and disliking this crappy weather we've been having. After a few days of rain, and more in sight, perhaps I should try get out and soak up the sun while I can. Should be a great weekend with some shows coming up, including an acoustic performance in Yorkton, SK for Aboriginal Day, a good day to be brown...Take care and thats all I have to say about that :)
